Happy Birthday Reese Witherspoon! On Friday 22nd March, 2013 star Reese Witherspoon will be turning 37 yrs old. In commemoration of Reese’s’ birthday, we are taking a look at her past, present and her future!

PAST

It all begins on March 22nd, 1976 at previously know as, Southern Baptist Hospital, now known as Memorial Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon was born. Her mother, Betty Reese, and father, Dr. John Witherspoon, already had one child prior to Resse’s’ birth.

Reese married Ryan Phillippe in 1997 and the two were together until 2007. They have two children, a daughter named Ava Elizabeth Phillippe, born September 9, 1999, and a son Deacon Reese Phillippe, born October 23, 2003.

In October 2006, Witherspoon and Phillippe announced that they had decided to formally separate. The following month Witherspoon filed for divorce, citing ‘irreconcilable differences‘. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s final divorce documents were granted by the Los Angeles Superior Court on October 5, 2007.

PRESENT

Reese Witherspoon is currently married to Jim Toth and has been since 2011. Reese and Jim have 1 child together, Tennessee James Toth, born on September 27, 2012.

Reese Witherspoon also has a star on Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame and was given this honour on December 1st, 2010. Her star is placed next to stars Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Aniston, near the W Hollywood Hotel.

FUTURE

Currently, Reese Witherspoon is set to star in the new movie, “Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus” which is in pre-production. She is also starring in movies “Wish List” (currently in pre-production) and in the completed movie, “Devil’s Knot“.
